Accounts of Chemical Research (usually abbreviated as Acc. Chem. Res.) is a peer-reviewed scientific journal, published since 1968 by the American Chemical Society. The journal tries to offer an easy-to-read overview of basic research important in the field of chemistry. The impact factor in 2006 of this journal was 17.113, an increase from 13.14 in 2005.1
