Chief of Army Staff (Pakistan)

The Chief of Army Staff (COAS) of the Pakistan Army is the highest post in the Pakistan Army. The current Chief of Army Staff is General Ashfaq Parvez Kayani. The COAS operates from army headquarters in Rawalpindi, near Islamabad.
