Ernie Colón is an American comics artist, born in 1931 in Puerto Rico.
Comic book series on which he has worked include Monster in My Pocket, Richie Rich and Casper the Friendly Ghost for Harvey Comics, Grim Ghost for Atlas/Seaboard, the historical fantasy Arak, Son of Thunder and Amethyst: Princess of Gemworld for DC Comics, Airboy for Eclipse Comics, Magnus: Robot Fighter for Valiant Comics, and Damage Control and Doctor Doom 2099 for Marvel Comics.
Colon created a Science Fiction graphic novel, Ax. He did all the work - writing, pencils, inks, color, and lettering.
Since 2005, Colón has been doing the weekly comic strip "SpyCat" in the Weekly World News.
Ernie Colón and Sid Jacobson created a graphic novel version of the 9/11 Commission Report in August 2006 titled The 9/11 Report: A Graphic Adaptation. In August 2008, they released a 160-page follow-up: After 9/11: America's War on Terror.
