Limacidae, or the keelback slugs, is a taxonomic family of medium-sized to very large land slugs, terrestrial pulmonate gastropod molluscs.

Anatomy
In this family, the number of haploid chromosomes varies from 21 to 25 and also from 31 to 35 (according to the values in this table).1
