The Mound-building Mouse or Steppe Mouse (Mus spicilegus) is a species of rodent in the Muridae family. It is found in Austria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Hungary, Macedonia, Romania, Serbia and Montenegro, Slovakia, Slovenia, and Ukraine.
