The website1 of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration contains detailed data of the annual land and ocean temperature since 1880.2
Currently every one of the last 14 years (1994-2007) is one of the warmest on record. These years could be the warmest years for the last several thousand years according to the temperature record, not just since 1880, but the most recent data is the most accurate.3

The values reported in the right hand column are anomalies from the 1901-2000 global mean of 13.9°C.4
The +0.55°C anomaly estimate for 2007 added to the 13.9°C 1901-2000 mean5 gives a global average temperature of 14.45 °C (57.89 °F) for 2007. 6
