The Translation Centre for the Bodies of the European Union is an agency of the European Union. Established in 1994, the Translation Centre is located in Luxembourg City. The Centre, which is self-financing, was set up to meet the translation needs of the other European Union agencies. Under voluntary cooperation agreements it also provides services to the EU institutions and other bodies that have their own translation services.
