Urtica urens, commonly known as Annual Nettle, Dwarf Nettle or Small Nettle, is a herbaceous annual plant species of the genus Urtica. It is found in Europe and North America. This species belongs to the Urticaceae family.

Urtica urens is an herb traditionally used to support the skin and soothe common itchiness. This herb has been studied with particular attention on it’s possible ability to support the skin when outside irritants are the cause. 1
