"Ya se acabó" is a song by Pitbull, a Cuban-American rapper from Miami, Florida. Pitbull wrote the song on the night of July 31, 2006 after finding out that Cuban President Fidel Castro had transferred his duties to his brother Raúl Castro. Ya se acabó means "It's over.". The song is sung in Spanish. The song is currently being played widely on Miami radio stations, most notably Power 96. The track was posted on Pitbull's Myspace page on August 1st 2006, the track has been played over 320,000 times and has since been removed. Ya se acabo was supposed to be included in Pitbull's upcoming album El Mariel, but never made the final cut. It could be released in the Spanish only version of "El Mariel".
